Using Bundle Kit with ShipStation

Bundle Kit is compatible with ShipStation.

Bundle Kit edits the Shopify order to add bundle items as individual line items.

To reflect this in ShipStation, you will need to pull this modified Shopify order data into ShipStation.

Removing the dummy (bundle) product line item from the order in ShipStation is possible.

The manual method is to use ShipStation’s Add or Edit Items button:

The automated method is to use ShipStation’s Automation Rules.

To do this: go to ShipStation > Settings (⚙️ icon in the top right corner) > Automation (left sidebar) > Automation Rules

For example, you can create an automation rule to:

Add an Internal Note “order contains dummy bundle product X (do not fulfill)” for an order if the order contains an item whose name or SKU contains BUNDLESKUXXX etc.

We recommend speaking with ShipStation to ensure that your fulfillment workers understand the meaning of your internal note.
